About the role

We are seeking an exceptional individual with a passion to develop their marketing skills. The role will suit a marketer with an entrepreneurial nature.

A self-starter with a strong resolve to get things done, and the ability to deliver ROI on campaigns is an absolute requirement. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing campaigns and will be supported by our in-house creatives with the capability to develop the following assets:  images for digital content, product videos, blogs, packaging design, digital assets, and B2C and B2B communication materials. As an investor in the company, Janine Allis from Boost Juice will also have an influence on the marketing direction and strategy.

The purpose of this role is to develop & implement innovative marketing programs for business growth.  As the Marketing lead, you will be involved with pretty much everything marketing related including:

  • Annual marketing planning and strategy, in collaboration with the CEO
  • Identifying and engaging with like-minded brands in the travel and outdoor industries to create mutually beneficial collaborations
  • Maintaining a campaign calendar
  • Budget management
  • Budget proposals and execution of campaigns within budget and on time
  • Digital advertising
  • Direction of social media, including Facebook, Instagram, and newly emerging channels
  • Driving brand message consistency in all marketing materials
  • SWOT analysis to identify marketing opportunities not yet realized 
  • Analyzing campaigns and identifying the good, bad and ugly for future campaigns
  • Activating and supporting key B2B partner programs and reviewing against key performance indicators to determine program effectiveness
  • Providing event coordination and management.
  • Monitoring and evaluating effectiveness of marketing offers and alignment to changing customer needs.

This role will suit a marketing graduate with a few years of experience under their belt.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • University degree in Marketing or related discipline

 Other skills/experience should include:

·       Experience in Marketing

·       Experience in B2B and B2C marketing activation

·       Experience in disciplined marketing campaign execution

·       Experience of working with agencies across multiple channels

·       Marketing events coordination

·       Outdoor and adventure industry experience desirable but not essential

·       Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
